Frequently Asked Questions
The customer must provide a server that meets the requirements of AI applications. If you do not have a server or do not know where and how to order one, we will be happy to support you.
In addition, a maintenance contract must be concluded with initOS GmbH.
The AI chatbot can run regardless of your other systems that you use in the company. However, for later integration into your application system and for the RAG functionality, you should note that we specialize in open source systems. If your application systems have an API that can be used for AI, we can connect your AI chatbot to it, but we can only make adjustments to application system that is subject to an open source license.
The price above is only for the AI chatbot. Other functions, such as the connection to our own application systems or the RAG functionality, are also subject to a fee.
“General Purpose Models” (GPM) are generally and in everyday parlance called the models that can be used for a variety of tasks and applications without being specifically tailored to a particular problem or data set. Examples of GPM are Mixtral, LLaMA and Gemma.
‘Reasoning models’ are designed to solve complex problems by breaking down into a series of logical thinking and calculation steps. In contrast to direct answers, these models simulate a human thought process that is similar to a human being who analyzes a complex task step by step, including intermediate results and partial considerations before the final solution is presented. Examples of reasoning models include gpt-oss, DeepSeek and Magistral.
