Why initOS?
Our team is as diverse as the IT of our customers. We have always been international and speak several different languages in our team. And yes, by that we mean languages that people speak with each other. We do most of our work at our development site in Magdeburg, but we also have an office south of Hamburg. Self-realization and team spirit are not just phrases for us – they are lived and promoted through joint events!
Family friendliness is very important to us: Home office is possible at any time and private appointments in the middle of the day are no problem at all. We are particularly proud of our sickness policy: you can stay at home for two days without a sick bill if you get sick. The well-being of our team is also very important to us, which is why we select our customers very carefully. Some simply don’t fit in with us and our values.

Our application process will be tailored to your profile and your later role in the company. We want to give you the opportunity to present your abilities in the best possible way. Here are a few hints about our application process.
What can I expect?
If you have sent us your documents by e-mail to recruiting@initos.de, we will check them immediately in the team. Afterwards you will receive feedback on when we could meet for an initial meeting, whether digital, offline or maybe even hybrid.
After that, both sides decide how to proceed.
We will do our best and try to send you an initial feedback after one to two weeks at the latest.
We call it a getting introductory talk, where we will get to know you and you better.
Depending on the location and task field, a test task can come to your hand. In most cases, however, this is only to be expected after or at an initial conversation.
We are a fan of fair conditions. With a test task from our project business, you can quickly get an insight into our topics. We, on the other hand, can familiarise ourselves with your way of working and thinking and can possibly help you with better training or thinking. Offering training measures.

As an IT company, we prefer digital applications. But please do not send us text documents, but only documents in PDF format.

Working with real customers on real-world problems presents a variety of challenges that require clear decisions. While we are dealing with purely technical concepts such as data, algorithms, code and services, the problems we tackle ultimately go beyond these definitions.
In the real world, the problems are multidimensional and multivariable. There are no perfect solutions and the sheer complexity is enormous. Be it in the raw data amount, the variations in work processes or the different (and sometimes also divergent) desired results. Urgent problems in practice need quick solutions. That is, they have to function before we have time to perfect them. So we have to make sophisticated and creative decisions, and quickly.
